In a sit-down interview with MTV News, Jeezy explained the impact that his latest record, ‘Seen It All,’ had on Jay Z. He said Jay actually teared up while recording his rhymes and reflected on how he was brought up as a child/teen.
“We got on the line and he was like, ‘Yo G, when I was writing the verse I had tears in my eyes, man,’ because it just took him so far back to Marcy,” Jeezy told MTV. “And that’s the same with me — every bar in that song was real. I put my hand on the bible.”
Jeezy also reveals that Jay sent the track back with a full verse in just 30-40 minutes.
